This week we met Megan, our client for Darwin Festival event. Before she came into the class, Aaron and I discussed with Eric about what we had oversee in this coming project. I suggested us to make templates for all youtube video because it would be much handy and faster for us as we only have 2-3days to work on post-production after that particular event. I talked to Keree about making a same lead in and lead out for all videos so we can use it in templates. She is the right person to do design stuff and she love to use After Effects for designing. I told Aaron that he can be the main communication with Eric and Megan so I can concentrate on helping the groups and wouldn't cause any miscommunication when lesser people replying emails.
Megan came in the class after Tedx group finishes their discussion, she introduce herself and explained all the events rundown in detail. I was amazed of her professionalism in giving us all the ideas includes some previous research about the target audience of this event and many more. She showed us the Sydney festival to give us a rough idea of what she expect from us, even though that video was done by professional company, I trust my fellow group mates and our team that we are able to create something like that as well.
In the meanwhile, we managed to get most of the information we needed for now, as we are waiting for her answers on this coming days for examples the background music, food & uniform provided for crew and etc.
We decided to have a meeting on every monday to update each other about the progress, so we can help out each other if anything required. It would be a lot of fun and new things to learn!
